Photos from 2012
The picture above was taken on the Jersey Shore 8 days before Hurricane Sandy hit while I was photographing a seaside home.
Every Nov. after the clocks turn back and the leaves have fallen, I catch my breath and look back on a year of taking photos throughout each season. Over the next 30 to 40 days, I am going to share with you my favorite images. Many thanks and cheers!

We also stand on the sidelines many days watching our kids play various sports together. See Sarah's new website designed by the very wonderful Tom Waters.

Sconces and Pendants featured in Vermont Cabin Article
This interesting blog post also talks about combining new and old materials. The cabin was designed by Joan Heaton and built by Silver Maple Construction.
"The cabin is of new construction although we used some salvaged materials,” explains architect Joan Heaton. The project presented a host of hurdles including a tight budget and a desire for eco-friendly building practices. And, by the way, there’s no road, just a winding wooded path and a footbridge over a river so all materials had to be hand-carried to the site.
