A place to stay in Stowe

Snow or no snow, this beautiful and comfortable property is a great place to rent if you are thinking about coming up north to see Vermont.  I will be taking more photos this summer when the leaves are out and the mountains are green again.

Sconces and Pendants featured in Vermont Cabin Article

This interesting blog post also talks about combining new and old materials.  The cabin was designed by Joan Heaton and built by Silver Maple Construction.

"The cabin is of new construction although we used some salvaged materials,” explains architect Joan Heaton. The project presented a host of hurdles including a tight budget and a desire for eco-friendly building practices. And, by the way, there’s no road, just a winding wooded path and a footbridge over a river so all materials had to be hand-carried to the site.
