A BIG BIG thank you to George Zavis, Karin Lidbeck, Jane McKeon and Matthew Benson for creating, producing, writing and photographing our backyard patio and fire pit story. "Come on over" pretty much says it all!
What a great theme to choose for such a beautiful time of the year. I visited the location on the right two times - each in the fall - to photograph a renovated fishing camp for the Cushman Design Group.
Worked with Liz Herrmann and Northern Timbers Construction photographing this lakeside retreat. Loved being by the water, getting to know the homeowners and photographing every room in the house!
Please join me and Peregrine Design/Build to celebrate their 25th year with an exhibit of their work titled, The Art of Place. The show will be at the Burlington Furniture Company from Sept. 6 through Oct. 22. Hope you can make it!
"More light, more function - still cozy" is a perfect description of this Burlington, Vermont kitchen space. I worked closely with the homeowner, Michelle and Joanne Palmisano on this shoot. Love seeing it out on the newsstands finally!
At dusk today, I shot some interiors, exteriors and lighting with George Zavis, of Hannabelle Garden and Co. Couldn't resist sharing this great light he designed recently.
I met Paula McHugh at Rejuvenation in Seattle last fall at a book signing and demo for Salvage Secrets with Joanne Palmisano. I have been following her great work at Belltown Design! "Our goal is to create places to “be in”; where you can sit by the window and watch the sunlight filtering through the trees, read quietly in a well-lit cozy corner, or sit with friends and share a fabulous meal and great conversation."
I had such a fun time working with three very talented ladies on this article in the January/February issue of Design New England Magazine! Mitra Samimi-Urich designed the featured guest house tucked away in the Vermont rural landscape. Lindsay Raymondjack did, as she always does, an exceptional job working with me in post-production. And thanks to Kathleen James for her written words about this special retreat.
The Feb./Mar. issue of Organic Gardening features Julie Moir Messervy's article about "today's new homestead". I had the honor of working with Julie this past summer photographing this project.
Again, fun to work with Taunton Press and author, Lee Anne White to put together images of outdoor spaces. Not only is Lee Anne a gifted writer, but also an inspiring photographer.
